WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
We envision a world where anyone from anywhere who wants to build any business and design the life and world they LOVE will have step-by-step support along their journey.
As a kid growing up in Brooklyn, the founder of Progress Playbook, Lloyd Cambridge, always wanted to start a company but lacked the confidence, resources and support to make it happen. Despite that, he never stopped dreaming. After college, he spent his career supporting entrepreneurs as a business banker, teacher and public servant, but he knew that he could do more and wanted to do more so he put his fear aside and he finally ventured out, and started Progress Playbook, a learning platform for entrepreneurs. Reflecting back on that 10 year old boy growing up in Brooklyn who wanted to build a business to live out his passion and provide for himself, his family and community, it serves as a reminder and motivation to continue to deign experiences that support dreamers, believers and doers everywhere to build businesses that will impact their lives and the world for GOOD.
To equip entrepreneurs to design the business, life and world they love.
WHAT WE DO
We design customized learning experiences that equip entrepreneurs to build businesses in NYC and beyond.
Current business education provides a one size fits all approach to building a business. Entrepreneurs receive the same general information whether they are building a restaurant in NYC, a clothing line in LA, or a hair salon in ATL.
With this generic approach, entrepreneurs often make unnecessary mistakes that lead to failure or delayed success.
If you ask 10 different entrepreneurs how they started and built their business you will get 10 different answers. There is no one way to get to your destination.
No more cookie cutter business instruction.
The best approach is a customized approach.
